Wisdom of Each Other

Students gain much from evaluating and responding thoughtfully to the things that other people have said. Especially when there is a chapter or topic where there are many quotable quotes that contribute bits of punchy wisdom, it is a prime opportunity to get students to think.

Asking students to choose which statement or quote speaks to them invites them to think and make a choice as to what resonated with them. Inviting students to share with the class what grabbed their attention is an excellent way to get them to think and to contribute to the discussion.
